Leadership Professional Learning & Executive Coaching

Strong leadership and management are the foundation that organizational culture and outcomes are built on. We provide evidence-based professional learning and coaching to the leaders who shape both.

Collaborative Office Meeting

Why Leaders Matter.

Research commissioned by The Wallace Foundation found that school leadership is second only to classroom instruction among school-related factors that influence student learning. A principal's impact reaches every student and teacher in the building. Investing in school leaders is one of the highest-leverage moves a district can make.

What we train effective principals to do
We build the five areas of practice Wallace research ties to effective leadership:

  • Shape a vision of academic success

  • Create a climate that's hospitable to learning

  • Cultivate leadership in others

  • Improve instruction

  • Manage people, data, and processes

How We Work

Every engagement starts with a conversation about your leaders' goals and context. From there, we tailor the learning to fit.

  • Culturally Responsive and Affirming Leadership Series. A six-session leadership development series developed in collaboration with the School Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. It covers identity and positionality, intersectionality, and building and repairing trust across lines of difference.

  • Bias Training

    • Examining how bias shapes instructional decisions and organizational culture.

    • Bias in recruitment and hiring processes, particularly as it relates to educator diversity.

  • Single-session PD. A standalone session built around your context with evidence-based practice leaders leave with tools they can use the same day.

Looking for one-on-one support? Executive Leadership Coaching gives aspiring principals, sitting leaders, and teacher leaders a thinking partner across six sessions with support between sessions.

What Leaders Say

Thank you for reminding leaders that they must be approachable and demonstrate humility, and while we strive to be student-centered,

we also need to be teacher-centered.
